Kneeling ISO Lat pulls A clip from yesterday's back workout featuring @mrhappyfeet – the reason why I like this exercise is because doing this movement opposed to the regular seated Lat Pull down prevents the use of momentum by jerking weight down. You can jerk here too but most likely it would pop your shoulder if you do. At the top of the pull, I have my palm facing my body and as I pull I externally rotate my palm (palm forward) and squeeze my Lat trying to get my elbow tight to my ribs. As you can see, Miguel and I don't have the same exact movements but we are also not the same person. Always try to experiment with exercises to get the best mind/muscle connection for you. I recommend a set/rep scheme of 3-4 sets of 12-20 reps with a low weight that you can control.
